Wakeboard Winch
To work on my welding skills I decided to build a wakeboard winch that would allow me to ride anywhere there is enough water. The 9 HP engine is directly connected to a centrifugal clutch that drives the main 14" reel. At full throttle the 1000' line can pull you up out of the water and reach speeds up to 25 mph and allow ride times of up to a minute and a half.
This is the frame welded together out of 1" steel tubing with a 2" steel tube to attach to a car receiver hitch.
